Not only was he one of the Guests of Honor at the 28th World Fantasy Covention in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
but on November 3rd (the day before his 49th birthday) STEPHEN JONES (far left, back row) also won
the WORLD FANTASY AWARD: SPECIAL AWARD, PROFESSIONAL for editing.
It was Jones's third World Fantasy Award win, and he tied in the Professional category
with fellow Brit Jo Fletcher (centre front, in wheelchair),
who won for editing the Fantasy Masterworks series from Gollancz.
